- A little info about yourself if you'd be so kind?
- First off, my character's name is not Arch Optera. Or is it...? Mwahaha! Actually, she is commonly known as "Project 23". I'm sure you're wondering what happened to the first 22 projects...?
She was, at one time or another a human being. She was a brilliant scientist and laboratory partner of the infamous Doctor known now by the name Wraithwire. They both formerly worked for one of the many rival corporations of Gemini and had completed a project named "Utopia" that would have given this corporation a great deal of leverage over the others.
As soon as the doctor and his partner had completed their work the corporation decided to dispose of them. They would no longer be of use and only be a sinkhole in the profits. The first person they started with was her, as she happened to be finishing up late one night in the laboratory.
The last thing she saw were the two men in suits with firearms...
The Doctor was able to escape with...what was left of her. And what was left was not very much. It was here that the doctor began to gain his reputation as what they could only classify as a "necromancer". Bringing people back fron the dead. Scientific Sorcerer. Hence, the new alias he gained as Wraithwire. He acquired a habit of doing very odd and almost unethical things. But most of that was done to allow him to enact his wrath on those that have wronged him.
Project 23 was reborn not as a human, not as a machine, but a work of art and combination of chemicals. She is a genetically created synthetic being with minor mechanical integration. But she appears as a simple, flawless almost human looking individual--a rarity nowadays. She is very refined, polite, and disciplined. Almost unnaturally perfect in a sense.
The Doctor and Project 23 laid low for a while and finally came out of the woodwork to be scooped up as valuable assets to the Gemini Corporation. One again with corporate backing and protection they were be able to start a new dynasty in the sky aboard their private airship Utopia.
The Utopia is an oddity, like an oasis amidst the technological jungle known as Insilico. The ship tends to overwhelm its inhabitants with a rather disarming sense of tranquility as if it were an entirely different world--an unspoiled paradise.

- I am a roleplayer and an artist. I play a multitude of games, and am an avid lover of William Gibson father of Cyberpunk and Kevin Warwick doctor of Cybernetics.
I have been RPing for almost two decades now in a multitude of different settings, another online game I play is EVE Online.

Project 23's Role in Insilico:
Project 23 is not meant to be a dangerous super weapon. You could probably consider her a pacifist. She excels at skills (generally scientific) that require a tremendous amount of brainpower. Her thought process is on par with that of a machine so she makes an extraordinary scientist and engineer. Her partner excels in genetics where she excels with machinery so they make quite a killer combination.

Zoar - The Passing of a Plague
I added a very old obscure song from my collection that simply brings Insilico to mind. It embodies the definition of a cyberpunk city quite well and the poetry simply paints an indescribably image in your mind. If you want to listen to it I added it to my music on my page. Should be showing up on the playlist. Unfortunately I can't find the lyrics online anywhere so you'll need to listen carefully. Just sit back, close your eyes, and let the words penetrate your brain.

Building Frenzy
Honestly, I never dreamed I would be building anytime soon in SL, or building at all frankly. But I seem to be a natural at it, so far. It's becoming an addiction for me! - Let's see... That couch I made myself, and If you want one I'll happily sell you a copy for cheap. The skin is from Oralune and the tattoos are Hybrid Productions which can also be found in Cyber Bunker.

- I'm flattered you'd say such a thing but the wonderful thing about Insilico there are so many unique and creative people here. Each has their own individual charm. I designed Project 23 to be a work of art since she was created to be "perfect". Too perfect, in fact. She is somewhat of a pretty display model. If you dig deep enough you might find the imperfections somewhere. Funny enough I just finished staring in awe at your profile page, myself. Love it!
