A little info about yourself if you'd be so kind?
Jaco is both an artist and an idealist. Fighting for the food autonomy of Insilicans, he wants to defeat Depth Industries, the only company that possesses the technology to design the food in this apocalyptic world. Depth Industry has a monopole and rules the food industry at Insilico. Although, their research department engineers have found a way to grow real genetic food from within the walls of the city, regardless of the tough atmospheric conditions that prevent citizen from farming their own food in natural ways. Consequently, Jaco wants to find allies and steal what the DI engineers have discovered. Thus, insilicans will be able to farm their own food, and this will be a first step for more independence and freedom, away from the dictatorship of corporations.
Do you have any roleplaying experience & if so please give a little background.
nope, never had any RP experience before. Although I am very keen to learn and practice.

My RP scenario

The year 2478. Depth Industries is the only company in the city that has facilities and technology to design the synthethic food consumed by the population. Synthethic food is the one and only cud resource available in the world, since tough climate and extreme global warming have ruined any chance for humans to farm their food in natural ways. Therefore, Depth Industries rules the life of the citizens since they control the whole catering industry. Depth Industries is known to use mafia methods such as corruption, assassination, and even starvation as a bargain tool to dictate their will on the political leaders of the city and the citizens.

Depth Industries provides all sorts of synthetic food for every social class of Insilico. The company distributes food in 3 categories. Class3, Class2, and Class1.

Class3 food:
The poorest class of citizens can only afford "low level" food, which is 95% made of synthetic enriched proteins designed in synthetic greenhouses. The 5% remaining come from cells extracted from real nutriments, but only because they are compulsory materials in the artifical food creation process. Class3 food is the cheapest range available at Insilico. The class3 food has no particular taste. Moreover, whatever class3 food tastes like is the least thing that Depth Industries folks care about. The purpose of class3 food is to simply feed, and there is no concept of taste or enjoyment in this very basic food. Class3 food is meant to be eaten by humans, cyborgs, and androids (whenever a droid's sophistication allows swallowing of food). Class3 food is sarcastically called "junkesia" by citizens, as an opposite reference to other classes of food.

Class2 food:
The middle class of citizens usually consume Class2 food. It is quite expensive and the market price is constantly raising, but the middle class can afford it still. However, food products tagged as Class2 are the best deal for most of people, as they are 75% made of synthetic enriched proteins, and 25% are made of natural genetic nutriments. Although, speculators say that Depth Industries cheats with dosage when the production demand raises drastically, by adding more synthetic proteins than real nutriments. Though it's never been proved because Depth Industries make sure that no journalist or any private investigator had any chance to have a closer look. Depth Industries can afford the top guns of IPS security, or hire prime hunters and killer drones to make sure that none has a chance to denounce or reveal anything regarding with the way they produce food. Class2 food is called "Synthesia", in popular language. However, Class2 food has flavours. Though all flavours are artificial, designed using chemical engineering techniques.

Class1 food:
The "first class" food in Insilico is tagged as Class1 food. That food is fairly expensive, and is therefore only consumed by the elite technocrats. Class1 food is the finest food one could find at insilico, but it is still made with 60% of enriched proteins. The 40% left are made of genetic nutriments and advanced chemistry engineering that reproduces the taste of genetic food. Class1 food containers are often stolen by pirates and mafias, hence why food retailers and restaurant often require the support of IPS security to take care of the convoys. Depth Industries is a very powerfull group. Thus they don't hesitate to spend a lot of money to secure their most valuable clients. Recently, Depth Industries proposed the building of a private and highly secured shielded subway tunnel that would have connexions with the major food retailers of the city whose clients can afford Class1 food, such as the well known and very classy seven seas restaurant.

However, since Depthcore Industries makes huge financial benefits with their synthetic food due to the rarety of genetic food, Depthcore Industries R&D engineering teams are always working on ways to expand their capabilities of farming the genetic basic elements that bring taste and flavour to their genetic food. After 30 years of R&D, they have discovered something that is a revolution for the catering industry at Insilico. Although, this revolution could be the end of their empire : They have designed the protein 45KH, the "meta protein" that allows the farming of 100% genetic food in the atmospheric conditions of Insilico.

SL and CyberPunk on Deviant Art

I've been browsing the Deviant Art website gallery, looking for cyberpunk and SL related pics after Alexandra Messinez has published a fantastic picture on her page.

Deviant Art folks made several interesting pictures and great graphical artwork based on SL. As I browsed the gallery, I realised how SL could be a great visual platform for photoshopaholics' work. Here's my non-exhaustive selection from atwork that caught… Continue

You are too silly, Jaco:P Thanks for the treat, but I don't require much in the way of human taste.
My systems use simple sugars, and proteins to help compensate for some small needs. I would appreciate any information you have drugs, or other food sources for my database. You may visit me at my office at MedLab S4 in the southside of Insilico.
